Not a penny. GSLI is funded by the success of our members. What does that mean for our members?
They get to keep all of their incentive dollars without paying GSLI a retainer. Our funding is based on the
success of your project, not the dollars associated with it.
Part of our company culture is based on honesty. Anyone that guarantees success in that capacity is simply lying. What we can guarantee is that we will do everything humanly possible to get a company in your area. Bottom line is, we are confident in our abilities without giving unrealistic guarantees.

The Prospector Program
This program provides you with all of GSLI’s leads each year, up to 104 of them.
The Trade Show Program
This allows your community to be represented at 8 or more trade shows and to attend 3 of them.
The Elite Program
Want both? No problem! It is also possible to use GSLI’s expertise without becoming a GSLI member.

ABSOLUTELY. Our projects come to us from a variety of sources including trade shows, the Internet, targeted emails, industry surveys, networking events, and referrals.
Every lead is directed to our Leads Qualification Manager who follows up and further researches each and every lead to ensure it passes our minimum criteria. Once it is qualified as a “Live Site Location Search,” it is passed along to our members for submission consideration. These projects can be at different stages with GSLI.
GSLI EXCLUSIVES: These are projects that are fully engaged with GSLI and using us as their main source for site location data and research.
GSLI PARTNER: These are projects that are actively engaged with us but are also using a site consultant or doing some of their research on their own.
GSLI LIVE PROJECT: These are projects we have found to be doing their site location searches but are using other sources exclusively. These projects are sometimes non-responsive to our team and therefore are typically handed off to members that want to engage with them directly.
The sweet spot for searches ranges from 50,000 to 75,000 square feet of space. We’ve helped projects land that are as low as 10,000 and upwards of 1,000,000 square feet.
Typically 90 percent of our projects start their searches wanting to Lease.
The average capital investment of a project is $7,000,000. We’ve had projects making upwards of $750 million in investment and as low of $1.2 million.
The average time frame for making a final site location decision is 15 months. Time frames have been as long as 24 months and as short as 6 months.

The average ROI on an investment of the GSLI ELITE Program is $26,770 on an $8,500 investment. That is only considering the marketing, press releases, trade show savings, social media posts, micro-sites and project alerts.
If one lands a location within their first year of GSLI, then the ROI is over 800 percent return. Most clients realize that if they just land one project within 10 years they will have recouped every penny invested into the program (not counting the year-to-year benefit of marketing and exposure received).
Most clients invest into programs offered by GSLI because their budgets are shrinking or they want to enhance their current marketing efforts. Clients benefit from a program that would be cost-prohibitive if conducted on their own.
We have communities of all different sizes with as low as a 10,000 population to large regional groups with over 5 million in population.
Yes! GSLI’s Retail Network works with over 7,000 retailers. Each retailer reports their desired locations they want to open along with preferred demographics. Clients can generate reports on specified criteria that will provide them with the names and contacts of who they want to attract and who they should contact. Clients can use a self-served platform or hire us to mange a complex campaign to do all the marketing for attraction.
