Prospect Live – Project Bone Appetit

During this Prospect Live webinar, Economic Development Organizations (EDOs) learned about the site needs of a growing pet treat manufacturer. GSLI sat down with the CEO, CFO and Senior Analyst of Project Bone Appetit to discuss motivations and specific needs of their expansion project. 

Communities interested in submitting sites on the project are encouraged to read below.

Sq. Ft. Needs: 100,000-200,000+
Build or Lease: preferably looking for an existing building to lease or buy
Time Frame: Operational by Q1 of 2022



Submission Information:

If you’d like to submit a proposal containing sites to Bone Appetit, please do so directly by logging in as a guest or member in the Project Portal. Search “Bone Appetit”, claim your free lead, and quickly submit your proposal.

Non-alliance member communities are encouraged to use their one free lead submission on GSLI’s projects. Non-member communities receive 1 submission per 12-month time frame. Please review the project scope before submitting. Our team vets all submissions and will review proposals with the Bone Appetit team after the submission deadline has passed. Member sites receive first review by the project. 

If you identified that you do not meet the minimum critical site criteria, we ask that you do not submit on this project. Out of consideration for the company’s time, we are requesting sites that can at least meet the minimum site requirements. Please include a cover letter expressing your interest in the project and how you can provide solutions to their needs. Provide any economic opportunities that might pertain to the project. GSLI and Project Bone Appetit ask that you do not upload submission packets over 30 pages long. We appreciate your cooperation with our policy and we look forward to reviewing your submission!

Prospect Live – Project Metal Fab

During this Prospect Live webinar, EDO’s learned about a project that can turn a brown field-building into wage earning jobs. Join GSLI as we speak with Project Metal Fab’s Vice President of Sales, Pat, to discuss the motivation and specific needs of their expansion project. If you are interested in submitting sites on the project please see below. 
 

Project  Metal Fab Overview:
Location Interest: All of United States, Southwestern, Southeastern U.S.
New Jobs Created: 50
Sq. Ft. Needs: 20,000-40,000 +/- sq ft, open to looking at larger facilities
Build or Lease: Looking for an existing building to lease or buy
Time Frame: 6 months

Submission Information:

If you’d like to submit a proposal with sites to Metal Fab, please do so directly by logging in as a guest in the  Project Portal. Search Metal Fab, claim your free lead, and quickly submit a proposal.

Prospect Live – S2A Modular (Project Energy Homes)

In this session, GSLI’s Project Director, Brooke Edwards, and Project Manager, Ashley Kleinsorge, introduce S2A Modular (Project Energy Homes) to communities and companies around the country.

The GSLI team helped communities identify the motivations, “must-haves” and tipping points of S2A Modular’s site location strategy by asking specific questions around topics like:

  • Key motivations and goals for the 35 new facility locations by 2023
  • Key site criteria needs
  • S2A Modular’s specific proposal needs, identifying “must-haves” vs “nice-to-haves”
  • Recently announced locations and the decision making process behind them

The webinar provided an opportunity for over 40 communities to get answers directly from S2A Modular’s Chief Growth Officer, Sharon Amecua.

 

S2A Modular Project Overview:

Location Interest: Multiple locations of interest across the U.S.

Acreage needed: 30-40 acres of shovel ready land. Must be located near a major interstate or highway. Company to build structures totalling 250,000 sq ft at each location.

PROSPECT LIVE – Project Pack USA

In this session, GSLI’s CEO, Eric Kleinsorge, introduces Project Pack USA to various communities and companies around the country. Eric identifies the “tipping points”, motivations and considerations that will help them find their next 2 sites in the next 12 months. The webinar provided an opportunity for several communities to get answers directly from the project for a submission to be formed.

PROSPECT LIVE – Project All Boxed up

In this session, GSLI’s CEO and Chairman, Eric Kleinsorge, introduces Project All Boxed Up, a multi facility corrugated box manufacturer, to communities in the states of Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. The project is looking for a Southwest facility to aid with company growth and service to their Midwest customers.  The project discussed their facility needs for communities to consider site and incentive procurement. PROSPECT LIVE – Project BLUE HQ

In this session, CEO and Chairman, Eric Kleinsorge, introduces Project Blue HQ to various communities around the country to identify new executive offices for their global headquarters. The project discussed their needs, motivations and expectations for a submission.

Time Frame: <6 months

Special Needs: Project wants to locate their headquarters to a more tax-friendly state. Shelter In Place Orders from COVID has made them realize they can do a lot of their work remotely and the need for their 25-man headquarters is not essential. They will need a 5-office location with a conference room. The location will need to be somewhat secure due to the nature of their federal contracts they secure. Taxes will be their #1 determining factor in this new location.
